The City of Greater Sudbury's roads are in terrible shape.
Drivers who have taken Notre Dame, Lasalle or Barrydowne know all
too well they are liable to have their entire car swallowed by a pothole.
Greater Sudbury Police have responded to numerous accidents caused
by drivers swerving to avoid potholes. The city is attempting to patch
the holes by using asphault patches but until the cold nights diminish,
melting snow continues to melt and collect below the patches.

Michael Lalonde, PIO, suggests citizens have their vehicles repaired
and submit their claims to the city:

Attn: Risk Management
P.O. Box 5000
Station A
P3A 5P3

The Risk Management division then decides if they will pay for the damage.

Residents must file within 10 days of the damage occuring.
